About Us
At Sealaska Environmental Services, we put our values to work for environmental sustainability.
A trusted caretaker – careful environmental management – a commitment to sustainability
Sealaska Environmental Services (SES) provides careful management of environmental compliance, remediation and restoration projects. We bring deep expertise, significant experience working with federal and state regulators, proven partnerships with engineering leaders and Sealaska’s history of resource and environmental management. With SES, you can expect efficient and meticulous progress in compliance, construction management, long-term monitoring, remediation technologies and restoration of habitats and natural systems. More important, though, you can expect us to draw on our values to promote sustainability of the land and its resources.
SES brings significant environmental and construction experience and capacity in working with our many clients as well as proven partnerships with key industry leaders in the environmental, engineering, and construction fields. Our history as a company derives from over 35 years of resource and environmental stewardship on 290,000 ancestral acres in Southeast Alaska; land our parent company Sealaska Corporation and over 20,000 Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian shareholders receive after the passage of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act in 1971.
SES is certified 8(a) and Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under the primary NAICS code 526910 (environmental remediation services). SES also has Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification through the State of Alaska.
To expand on our core competencies and increase the range of services we can provide, SES has developed partnerships with a number of trusted environmental, engineering and remediation leaders, including Tetra Tech EC, Inc., Kingston Environmental and URS Group, Inc.
We focus on complex environmental remediation services that support our clients at all stages of their projects:
